Dollar Shave Club
DSC was the first brand to offer a razor delivered to your door at a super low price. This paired with their sharp marketing and simple offers disrupted the entire industry overnight. I remember seeing their viral youtube ads and thinking they were pretty genius.
I collaborated with DSC’s paid creative director and marketing strategists and got to make some really fun motion and graphic assets for their Paid Media channels. I also helped design some emails and was asked to design a T-shirt graphic for their LA office.
Working with a brand that embraces humor, self-awareness, and a willingness to be a little unconventional made this work especially rewarding. Below are a few examples of projects and campaigns I worked on during my time with them!

Here is an example of Evergreen Ads I created for DSC. Layouts were designed by me, using brand guidelines, then once approved I would animate. Easy-Peasy
Role: Graphic Designer & Motion Designer
We got to team up with Official College Football Conferences and created a whole suite of ads for each school. These were tricky, but found a way to streamline iterations. Eventually we grew to over 30 schools!

For the launch of DSC’s new Summer blades DSC launched an ad campaign with stills, animations and short videos in collaboration with Tiktok’s famous comedy group Almost Friday TV.
HAGS!

For this campaign we channeled our inner millennial child and created retro ads based on the visual language of the 1990s. From Informercial-esque videos by Cool Guyz Online, to Windows 98′ desktop inspired ads. I developed all visual elements / timing for these videos.
Ok ttyl :-)
